嘆けとて 月やはものを 思はする
かこち顔なる わが涙かな
歌意
嘆き悲しめと言って、月が私に物思いをさせるのだろうか、いやそうではない。（月を眺めながら流す）私の涙は、月にかこつけている（月のせいにしている）顔つきであるなあ。
English Translation
When I catch a glimpse
