住の江の 岸に寄る波 よるさへや

住の江の岸に寄せる波のように、夜見る夢の中でさえ、あなたは人目を避けて会ってくれないのでしょうか。

On the shore of Sumi Bay,
And in the gathered night,
When in dreams I go to you,
I charge you: tell no one of that.
