わびぬれば 今はた同じ 難波なる
みをつくしても 逢はむとぞ思ふ
歌意
こうして身を焦がして悩んでいるのですから、身を滅ぼしてしまっても同じこと。難波の澪標のように、身を尽くしてでもあなたに逢いたいと思います。
