きのとものり
ひさかたの 光のどけき 春の日に
しづ心なく 花の散るらむ
歌意
日の光がこんなにものどかな春の日に、どうして桜の花ばかりは落ち着いた心もなく散り急いでいるのだろうか。

The spring has come at last
And the cherry flowers are blooming;
Here the hills and dales
Are many yet the blossoms seem
